i have never used the weber mpe 750 105 hp. i have used the weber 750 H.O. 143 H.P. turbo and i like this engine. it is small light and good on fuel burn rate. i like to use the weber 143 hp with the aquajet jet pump with our smaller lighter jet boats 14'-17" this boat is 17' long with the weber 750 mpe 143 hp and the aquajet 6" jet pump. it gets up out of the water fast and has a top speed of 38 miles per hour on the river. this boat is 1100 lbs. or 500 kg . finished boat
that is with 3 guys and full tank of fuel which is 22 gallons we try to use an impeller that will give hole shot to get on step faster with less top speed most of our boats are build for hunters that need to carry a big load in the boat and still get good fuel burn rate.
i do not use outboard jets because they are not strong and the use to much fuel we only use good strong jet pumps and smaller good running engines that are very good on fuel we can go hunting with a good inboard jet boat that we build on less fuel then if it was powered by an outboard jet outboard jets can not carry a very big load like we need our boats to carry do you understand this about outboard jets ?
Bill, you are using 2,2 ECOTEC engine 167 h \ p with SWJ 751? I placed an order with Bruce on this motor, and I plan to work with Scott on 751 new boat. I wanted to ask you opinion on this engine, which can be expected from such a kit, which he will have a maximum flow rate, the optimum pitch to them and the compression ring at the nozzle as a place to start, its reliability?
